Meet Our Conference Team

Our hardworking and creative team of university staff and student volunteers bring together a diverse range of skills and expertise to deliver an exceptional SICSA PhD Conference 2025.

Rachel Salzano

Rachel is a lecturer in the Applied Informatics Subject Group at Edinburgh Napier University. She is also joint Local Chair for our SICSA PhD Conference 2025.

Khristin Fabian

Khristin is a Research Fellow in the School of Computing at Edinburgh Napier University. She is also joint Local Chair for our SICSA PhD Conference 2025.

Debbie Meharg

Debbie is Head of Applied Informatics at Edinburgh Napier University. She is also Director of Education for SICSA and the Awards Chair for our SICSA PhD Conference 2025.

Yashar Moshfeghi

Yashar is a Reader in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science at the University of Strathclyde. He is Director of Research for SICSA and Reverse-Viva Chair for our SICSA PhD Conference 2025.

Tim Storer

Tim is a Senior Lecturer in Computing Science at the University of Glasgow. He is Deputy Director at SICSA and Sponsorship & Careers Fair Chair for our SICSA PhD Conference 2025.

Aiden Durrant

Aiden is a Lecturer for the School of Natural and Computing Science at the University of Aberdeen. He is Deputy Scottish Graduate Academy Director at SICSA and former Programme Chair for the 2024 SICSA PhD Conference.

Chrissy Sanachan

Chrissy is Executive Officer for SICSA and based at the University of Glasgow. She is also Finance Chair for our SICSA PhD Conference 2025.

Juliette Lang

Juliette is Project & Events Officer for SICSA and based at the University of Glasgow. She is also Logistics Chair for our SICSA PhD Conference 2025.

Marianne Wilson

Marianne is a PhD student at Edinburgh Napier University. She is also our Lead Student Volunteer and Volunteer Coordinator for our SICSA PhD Conference 2025.
